I just read issue Just like that......he's gone.

I'm really enjoying this storyline. It was going a little slow for a while but once Jesus showed up it really picked up. And this just proves that the worst monsters are always human, zombies are just barriers. Issue 100 is going to be huuuuge!

That IS Ricks arm in the pile!!! Like a part of him is dead too. AND it is positioned at the same angle he is holding his stump in the top right corner. Also, alas, (sniff sniff) though I don't WANT it to be Andrea in that heap, it really looks like her and not Amy. But, then where is Amy in the pile? I'm hopeing Andrea lives. Love that she is such a strong female character AND lke-able (aka:Not a B****).

I love all the speculation coming from one single piece of cover-art, however badass it may be. You all must just laugh it up over all the fan conjecture; i cant blame you. I am ready for the epic 100. Kirkman and Adlard what sick chaos follows next?

p.s. Throw some cover art in with the next compendium damn it, they are too good to go without.
Sina for the win!

oh yes cant wait!!!!! Too much excitement for me to handle!!!! Is that babys Judy arm by lori sticking out? i have always had a thought that the baby ends up not being dead for some reason...that would be awesome!

Take a look at Rick's feet. They are not there as if he is hovering over the dead. I think Rick is going to die and Carl will takeover to avenge his father and kill whoever gets him.

Like the rest of you who found this page, I too can not wait for both issue #100 in July and the season 3 premiere in October. I see a lot of people commenting on the cover art so I thought I would give my 2 cents. In about the middle of the pile up there is what looks like a small boy with a white bandage wrapped around his head. Could that be Carl? I'm not saying it is but did anyone else notice that and what do you think?

I think Rick will face off with Negan who like the govener keeps zombies chained to serve his depraved needs. Rick will have the upper hand and be on the brink of winning when he is suddenly knocked to the ground and as he looks up meets the dull lifeless gase of zombie Lori with baby Judi in tow who minus a few love nibbles from mom is a fully intact zombie infant.
just a guess. Lori has got to be wandering around out there somewhere right? and if she is then the baby has to be zombied as well.
Maybe young Carl will loose control and run to embrace his dead mother and Judi will eat his other eye.
Whatever happens I hope its so unforseeable and twisted that we all need therapy for years to come!
Its interesting how Shanelike comic Rick is to TV Shane .

Yeah.... Lori will un-hinge her jaw and baby Judy will pop out and attack alien style.

Now PLEASE keep Rosita alive and bring back her short shorts! The only girl wearing short shorts in The Walking Dead deserves to live a long life!

There's a bite wound in the exact same position Amy was bitten so I'm pretty sure it's not Andrea, if it was, Abe would of been positioned in the dead somewhere surely? And its all the dead drom over the series, they wouldnt choose such an obvious spoiler. Also no it wasn't Daryl, they mentioned his name as Dwight, so just because he has a crossbow it doesn't make him Daryl or anything of the sort haha

gonna be brilliantlets see how the governor plays out on tv

June 4, 2012 | Unregistered Commenterbledge

Guys if you read the hardcover books you would no that Kkirkman has stated that he altered or cropped furure covers online to avoid spoilers like the flashback issue for example was just a orange background online because he didn't want fans knowing that the governor was still alive. Expect more deaths in #99 and for Abraham to join the pile come July.

The head with the bandage would be Billy. Can't wait to see what's in store for us both comic and TV wise.

Carl will die, I swear, i'm more than completely sure

June 5, 2012 | Unregistered CommenterOmar

Well, I'm pretty sure he's not Daryl. But I wish that Crossbow is Daryl's.

For those wondering:
Yes, that is baby Judy's arm.
Yes, that is Amy and not Andrea.
And issue 100 will be 40 pages long, so yes its double length.
Andrea and/or Maggie will die. Kirkman loves to kill people off as soon as happiness comes to them (Andrea is finally with Rick, Maggie is finally pregnant). I don't think Carl will die, it just doesn't make sense. Since issue 1, Rick's goal has been to protect his family. when Lori died, this was intensified. Kirkman said, Rick won't live to see the series' end. My guess is Rick will die, and Carl will become the star of the comic, once he's in his teens perhaps, the Grimes legacy lives on so-to-speak. But seriously guys... prepare your hearts, because so many people are about to die.

And also, the man with the crossbow is Dwight. This could be the comic version of Daryl, although other than the crossbow, there are no similarities between them.
